Korea sketches

Haven't posted here for a long time, and I haven't posted any sketches for even longer, so without further adieu, a few sketches from my recent trip to Korea with Aissa.

In a beautiful little neighborhood in Seoul called the Bukchon Hanok village, you can see the ChangDeokGung Palace.  It was too late to go inside, but we got a nice enough view from here.

A street vendor sells warm manju, straight from the iron.  The smell wafted to us as we were walking towards the Lotte department store, and we couldn't resist having a warm snack on such a cold day.

It was a rather long ride from Digital Media City to Itaewon, where we would take the bus to N Seoul Tower.  I whiled away the time by sketching the people across me, while Aissa alternately played Triple Town and napped.  I wonder if I would do more sketching locally if I had idle time to kill in public transport?
